On gearboxes, where the driveshaft is inserted, not the seal in the bell housing, is the seal a horrible job to do, does the gearbox need to come out?

Mine appears to be leaking, from i assume a seal, where the driveshaft is inserted, i'm just wondering if it's a lot of effort to replace and if the gearbox needs to come out?

hi Sam ,not a gearbox removal job,fairly straight forwards once you removal the shaft.
