Default Rolling Road, Running mega rich, HELP !!

Hi all just come back from Dynotech Hayes Engineering in Erith and got the car on the rolling road for a power run and to check the afr's ect..

Bit confused because the car made 256bhp and i was told im running mega rich thats causing me the loss of power. Been told a remap will sort this out.

The car is a Impreza wrx sti type r v6 v limited (2000) and ever since i have got it i have noticed its costing me alot in fuel, More then my mates scooby.

I have posted up my rolling road print outs and if someone could be as kind as to have a look and tell me if i do need a remap or not ?? Is the car safe to drive like this ?? And is my loss in power down to running mega rich ?? Also where is the best place in south east (i live in kent) to get a remap on the ecutek ecu ??

I dont really understand these graphs lol

**** yeah thats rich, looks like the fueling goes off the bototm of the graph.

Needs looking at to see if its a mechanical issue, but could well be a mapping issue so need a remap.

The car is a fresh import but sva apparently said they flashed the ecu to run v-power

flash map, ahh s**t, dont drive it mate, park it up till its sorted.

flash maps are a massive no no on scoobs for this very reason, map is wrong for the car.

Now you have said that it def sounds like a mapping issue

Great more money chucked at it now.. My next question is if im going for a remap is the standard engine safe to be mapped in at 1bar - 1.2 bar ??? Also i have a Greddy profec b spec 2 electronic boost controller off my old car is it best to have that fitted or is it beeter to control boost via a map ?? If i have to get it mapped im prob gonna go for a cat back, panel
filter and a fuel pump

Boost will be controled by ecu so dont need boost controller, mapper will be able to set it at a safe level, rather than just x amount.

If i got a frsh import first thing i would do is have it health checked (even if seller claims to have) and mapped for the right fuel with work carried out by a reputable specialist. Jap and UK fuel arn't the same.

Dealer is unlikley to know what to do with it, alot of jap imports come in modified, a dealer is unlikley able to cope with mod'd parts. They can check general mechanical stuff, but anything beyond plugging in a diagnostic tool or checking for rattles and leaks will be over there heads.

Yea to be honest when sva said they flash mapped it for v-power i didnt really belive them... Had to many problems with them now. It will only be going to Subaru or a specialist

Tbh that just how thy are standard, very rich.

Yes you would gain power and torque and drivesbility and a little mpg with a remap and it would be safe for uk fuel. However they normally detcan check them at hayes anyway?

Two runs, one off the scale, one clipping along it.
With no changes and back to back runs you would assume it wasnt massively different as if it were the power curve would massively different.
