Hi Tony, I don't know when you were at SC but I was there about noon on Friday and actually saw your graph and recognised the registration number. The 321H is generally a 390 bhp turbo and with methanol can exceed 400 bhp on the rollers at Scooby Clinic so I thought your result was reasonable in the circumstances. Change to a bigger turbo and you will get more. I do think your car and turbo along with your other mods are a particularly good example and far above average in terms of response and driving.

Hi harvey must of just missed you as i left round 10.30,took it up there as I know SC rollers are hard to beat, a few iv been on in the past tend to over read
The printout to me looks a bit laggy but on the road it's far from this starts to pull hard from 3500 also nice to see 380ftlb

Talking to Mark he seem to think it's a little lean as he normal maps for around 11.0AFR were I'm at 12 any thoughts welcome

Hi Tony, the car was mapped to 0.79 lambda which is 11.6 to 1 as an afr, given your spec thats normal level for me. 11.0 to 1 would be 0.75 lambda which is rich even for a GDB/GDA new age standard engine which yours is not.

The 321H will make 400 on pump fuel (V Power) there are several cars, mainly MY99-00 Sti or P1, running at that level and a bit above using 1.4 bar at the red line. thats on OEM ecu's. All dyno proven.

I will be open and say that the best way to improve your level and stay at this specification would be to change the ecu, the Gems is not the best unit to squeeze power from a set up with.

Not sure why you recorded afr's as shown, the car was mapped to 11.6, it was road mapped and that normally shows rich on a rolling road.

cheers

bob
