Brake question
Hi people I have a my95 wrx turbo.
It is fitted with the gold brembos on the front
But was wondering if its possible to fit a
Large set on the back rather than the small brembos.
Reason I ask is because I have a spare set and would like
To fit them the rear ????

Yea mate, i beleive there is a conversion bracket for the rears, try rcm, god speed, aztec performance, they ahould be able to point you in the right direction as along with many other companies

If you are asking if you can fit brembo front brakes onto the rears , then no , it would be nigh on impossible to fit the front brembo 4 pots onto the rear , but even if you could , the brakes are too powerful for a rear caliper and would knock the braking balance out , and the rears would lock up all the time.
All you need to compliment what you have done already is fit the rear brembo 2 pot calipers are 316mm discs , it will stop very well with them fitted.
You will need either the thicker handbrake shoes or the inserts in the rear discs as your handbrake is a smaller size than the STi , and the sti handbrake shoes won't fit on your backplate .
We offer a mounting bracket kit and thicker handbrake shoes for £150 , or 316mm grooved discs with inserts to reduce the handbrake size down and a mounting bracket kit for £199
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian
