Default r all walbro fuel pumps noisy

hi i have a walbro fuel pump in my classic and its noisy as f*** i don't hear it that mutch as im use to it but people often comment on haw noisy it is is this normal

I've had 2 in both of my legacy's and they whine and bark (as i call it) all the time

Mine doenst whine, i fitted one this weekend to a mates car and wasnt whinning.

yes they are noisey - HRC pumps imho are better, cheaper & are quiet.

RCM pumps are good too im thinking of changing mine just because of problems that people have experienced with walbro pumps.
