I have asked several people but all give differant answers range from i don't know to 14.5 & 18 psi. On my94 uk impreza at what psi of boost should i hit fuel cut. Just so i can set it a little lower. First correct answer saves my head from hitting the windscreen.
Thanks

Dean

Find it and run 1 PSI lower. It is not as brutal as people say, but do it in the dry in a straight line. Once you've done it once you won't freak if it did happen when you overtake an artic or something - just got to 3/4 throttle and complete your overtake.

It is different on the different model years - probably quite low on a 94.

You should also have some way of detecting knock and lean conditions.

I think my MY96 hit fuel cut between 15 & 16 psi, as John says it's not as bad as people say, no worse than hitting the rev limiter.

Just slowly up the boost till you hit fuel cut then drop back 1 psi, it's best set up in 4th or even better 5th gear.

It's at about approx 15.48psi/1.06BAR (held boost), which will be a reading of approx 4.6V from the MAP Sensor.
