Default Boost Gauge: Problem pressures

hi there, i bought and fitted a boost gauge today on my stock Bugeye Wrx, its an electrical sensor type gauge.

i have t-eed it off the vaccum pipe from the DV as per the guides and the vacuum on hot idle is showing -0.8 bar. (im taking it this is normal)

but when revved whilst stationary, the needle never raises above 0.0 bar.

i cant road test due to vehicle being off the road, but does the ECU adjust to the cars movement? hence why im not obtaining a positive pressure on boost from stationary?

thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

you wont get positive boost stationery as the turbo needs to be under load to spool

-o.8 is normal vacuum,
Dave.
