P0420 - The Lambda Sensors reading to close (fun, fun, fun)
Hello again peoples
(04 plate GX sport)
Once again the scooby has thrown another fault code up but i was wondering about any advice?
- P0420 = Cat below minimum threshold aka sensors reading too close
Tests so far?
- Emissions = Spot on with an exhaust leak AFTER the cats and a second de-cat
- Lambda sensor (second one) = Voltage on signal wire staying steady at 2.98 to 3.1 odd after the emissions test/pre run
- Lambda sensor (front one) = Changed and cured previous fault code
Issue is she stinks of pertol even when hot sometimes (after town driving) and then the light only happens AFTER running around town, shutting her off and then motorway driving aka cruising in 5th
And is roughly 31mpg good for a non turbo?
Any advice? Ideas? Experiences?
