Hi all

I have a 1995 turbo 2000 and going to have an esl board fitted and mapped the end of the month so trying to solve a few issues before I do.

My car has a top entry TD04 and I want to swap if for a top entry TD05.

Will it be a straight bolt on fit? Myself I cant really see any reason why not however I have searched and most TD04s seem to be front entry and cant find anybody that has actually done it.

Also my car has the standard 380cc injectors,3" turbo back hks exhaust system (no cat or pre cat) .walbro 255 fuel pump,apiro induction kit, and with the td05 if its a sraight swap I hope to make 300bhp with the remap, Is the possible with the mods I have?

Please let me know about the TD04 to TD05 conversion people as I want to get one ordered if they are a straight swap.

straight swap mate, also get some yellow 440cc injectors mate.

 

Have you checked you havent already got a tdo5 fitted? As they came as standard on that year car.
