Default Wheel bearing?

I've noticed recently a "click click clicking" noise coming from the front drivers side wheel. Sounds almost the same as when something is stuck to the tyre and when driving makes that similiar clicking sound.

I will check it but could it be the wheel bearing? Experience tells me a wheel bearing noise makes a "whinning" noise not a clicking sound. Tried putting the gear in neutral at speed doesn't seem to be as loud but it definitely happens above 40mph.

I will get it checked out but thought I'd ask if anyone else has had the same sort of noise and it turned out to be wheel bearing.

It could be at certain points of the wheel turning that something behind the wheel could be catching.

Cheers

Sounds more like a CV joint, try turning the steering to full lock while crawling in first gear, try it both left and right, if it is more pronounced it will be a CV.
