Wink turbo flutter noise????

Hi all
Just came back off holiday and picked my car up from airport gave it a good blast on way home and I noticed a flutter noise when drove hard. Any idea what this could be?? It don't do it low end.. mainly in 5th and 6th at revs from 3k upwards...
The performance is still there just that noise and it concerned me a little,
Any help and thoughts welcome
Craig

Are you running an aftermarket dump/diverter valve?

Nothing to be overly concerned about, but not ideal.. i think some run the md321t without, its a good strong unit and ideal if its got warranty.

Running without does put more stress on the turbo though generally, and i cant see it being great for spool up through gear changes compared to running a bypass valve and certainly wouldnt be my choice.

Yeah, just get a recirculating dump/diverter valve. As long as you hav a 't' piece or takeoff on you fmic pipework that is...then just route it into your intake pipe.
