Default power steering issue

hi guys

over the weekend i began a wire tuck, all went well removed things such as the air con etc

since i completed the work car is back together and fine starts ok no problems.

however

i now seem to have a problem with my power steering. when the car is warm its not really noticeable but on start up and cold the steering is heavy and squeaks, i have had a mate watch the bay and the wheel linking from the power steering pump seems to stick when i try turning.

so what did i do as it was fine before and how do i rectify it?

car is a classic sport special 2.0 n/a

i dont believe so, i removed one that was directly connected with the air con but that was it. thats what baffles me. as i say when i warms up its absolutely fine from a standing start to high speeds
