Saw an article on here a day or so ago about the cabin filter so decided to see how much they cost and where they are in the car.
Finally got one, a few pounds from the local motor factor and changed the old one. Never seen so many leaves, black soot and cr*p in my life gave the whole housing a good clean while I had the glove box out.
You sort of know what you are going to find when the screw heads look untouched on a 10 year old car.
Smell better too

haha, changing the panel filter was the best thing i done in my old car! my god the heater never smelt so fresh :P all that in just 7 years
cant imagine 10!!!

It was not nice to say the least Dan, just an off chance thread that made me think to look as it doesn't stop the car but sure as hell makes the environment smell better now
