hey friends i no this is a scobby site but my scoobys fine its my sierra cossy thats playing up so if anyone has had one or has got one help would be great
its the key it turns to 1 and 2 and 3 but then gets stuck and wont turn anymore to start the car ive took it all apart and cant see anything out of place all the lights come on it just wont turn no more the barrel is fine and turns and the car still starts if i cross the wires with a screwdriver

Where's your fuse box on the cossie?

I had an xr4x4 a few years ago, that had starting problems, amongst others, but it turned out that the fuse box was right at the bottom of the windscreen and over the years every single connection had corroded due to water ingress!

Turned into a bloody nightmare

Obviously the above would be the easy option to check, but if that don't work , have a look in the fuse box

Ignition switch matey.If you can get it to fire using a screw driver, it sounds like theres a break in connections somewhere between the barrel and where you getting it to start mate
