excedy hyper single plate clutch?
Hi,
I will be needing a new clutch just wondered if any body know what power the above clutch can take cars around 400bhp, I have an uprated harvey smith one at the moment which has been good but span it at york and now hard to change gear so time for another.
cheers mark

Hi Mark. The Hyper single is a really good clutch, and will be ok for your 400bhp. Launching it puts the most strain on the clutch. The Hyper Single is good for a mild amount of launches, but it you intend to use full launch a lot then maybe you need to consider something a bit stronger like the Hyper Twin? It's a lot more expensive but will give you more piece of mind when launching.
