Just noticed my car was due for the mot, so quick call to my local bloke, and no luck he can't get it passed this year due to the decat. Not the worse outcome as I brought a cat for the car last year fearing this would be at issue, but she passed. Starting stripping the car to fit the decat, long story shorter, taken 3 days due to rusted bolts (would say 7 years worth with no copper slip) and bodge by someone in the past. Go to fit my cat and realised the wiring is wrong, turns out I have a cat for a 92-97 car and mines a "00". So does anyone have a cat I can borrow for the day? (Suffolk) Or know anywhere that can be be a easy on emissions? I know vosa is making it harder each year. Wouldn't normaly ask but due to loss in Job I can't keep chucking money at the car

 

Know what u are going through. Mate has brought his Evo to my house 3 times now over the last year , and all we did was split one nut off. Tried heat, WD40 , brute force , and he still went away with the cat fitted.

 

Thought all classic dp's were the same ??
