Air fuel gauge
Innovate air fuel gauge
Has anyone wired in one of these in before. I've got a pro installing it next weekend but I can't work how its not gonna mess up my ecu. I just wanna get it right in my head
The instructions just say the order of powering it up and warming up the sensor etc. There is no overall install diagram.
This is me just guessing where the wires will go but surely something will have to go back to the ecu? I'm not sure what the two small connectors go (right-hand side of picture). Am i missing something
Any thoughts, thanks guys

why would you need to go to the ecu. it gets its data from the wideband sensor. if it was to be wired in i suppose there is a loom that uses 1 or both of the little black plugs?
The wires showing will be perm live, switched live, nuetral, lights.

I'm not worried about the collection of blue, yellow etc wires. The instructions explain what each one is for and the setting up process. I was just concerned about the route from sensor to gauge. I'm probably worrying about nothing but I would of thought if you bypass the ecu it would of thrown a fault up?

aye your missing something. bore downpipe and weld in boss job done. A complete standalone system so why would it mess with ecu?.
if you dont want to get the welder out than it can be installed in oem location with simulated narrowband fed to ecu. fail to see problem.

Thanks. Just been chatting to rich FB and I was completely missing the fact that I've got a place in the downpipe that it uses. I thought it was already being used and it's able to be a stand alone system. All makes sense now. Cheers
