I would imagin there are a few people selling 440 injectors ( classic yellow) they will be side feed injectors, but depending on what ur mate gives u as long as there classic fitment u may or may not need a adaptor kit depending on wether they are phase 1 /1.5 or phase 2 ....
Basicly depends what year Impreza they are comin from

Likely wont be the right ones tank, they did make phase 1 yellow injectors but they are very rare and I am unsure if they are 440cc like the phase 2s.
Not a problem tho buddy as carly davey does an adaptor set to make phase 2's fit in phase 1 rails. http://www.carldavey.co.uk/product.php?id=2
I have them fitted to mine buddy, they are spot on. You should of said you was after injectors when you was down, I got a set that have just been re-furbed/cleaned you could of bought. Rich

Just injectors will be fine tank, if you are fitting lots of other parts at the same time then yeah do it all the day before mapping to minimise risk. No reason why you can't drive it to the rolling road but just keep it off boost IE change gear at 3k and don't boot it. Also worth checking your cambelt and oil is recent matey coz it will get some stick on the rollers and they wont appreciate your engine blowing on theyre rollers! lol. R
