Meth mixing
#5
Sorry to hijack....
Any opinions on a daily runner being run on a meth mix?
Prolonged running, Buying meth & storage, Getting the mix or measurements correct on continued running, Carrying meth on long runs away from home....
Good or bad, all opinions welcome!!

The power advantages of running 20% meth are too much to ignore. 10% inclusion is neither here nor there. Not to worry too much in regard of rotting the fuel system.
I always use an 8 litre meth/ 32 petrol mix when possible so the mix is always ongoing.
I'd be less happy about the mix putting 12 litres of meth and then 48ltres of petrol on top, I think I'd want to split that somehow.
I have a simtek ecu which has 2 maps, one meth/petrol the other V-power. I use the meth all summer and swap to petrol only through the worst part of the winter. My car starts better on petrol only in the very cold weather.
Long range driving is just a case of planning ahead and carrying the required amount of meth in a jerrycan but obviously that has it's limits.
It's best to have the 2 map facility.

Car is non running at the moment. Could I put say 8 litres of meth in and top it up with jerry cans do it has the right amount in? I wouldn't be running the car just filling ready

The car of course will need a re-map and to check if your injectors have enough headroom for the increase in fuel flow required with 20%meth.

sounds like you know what you're doing bud

Why would you need to tell your insurance company that you're carrying a jerry can of meth in the boot?
I know you'd have to tell them that your car is mapped differently or modded..!

Jennychem 01634 245666.
200 litre drum is cheapest way but need for storage space and disposal of empty metal drum.
4x25 litre drum is next best with free postage.
1x25litre incurs £12.50 postage.
Trev
just to add, need for safety in handling, should not come into contact with skin and use well ventelated area when metering it out

I done a continuous 22,000 miles on 20% Meths.
For long trips buy "lined" 20 Ltr Jerry cans. Pour 4.1 Ltrs in can then take to petrol garage and fill them up.
Will only corrode coatings on Alley. Fuel lines will be okay.
Most important thing is keeping opened Meths sealed and not exposed to air.
Only buy virgin Meths.
This info is subject to fuel tests we done at RCM and many emails with the top guys at The Trinity Fuel Research Dept.
Constant Meths on your skin WILL **** your kidneys & other bits.
