Default Hawkeye oil and water usage

I have an STI Hawkeye. The engine was proffesionally rebuilt 2000 miles ago. It has been run in properly and had a 1000 mile service in June. The problem I have is over the last 1000 miles it has used a pint of oil and a litre of water. As I have only used the car in the summer the 1yr/ 12000 mile garantee is nearly up. The car doesnt smoke or seem to leak could it be the turbo on the way out? Any help would be appreciated

Would you not be best contacting the person who built it??

The car should not be using any water but can use some oil on break in. Check the hoses for leaks

If its forged it will use some oil, how much depends on clearance used between piston and bore and how the engine was broken in. If its using water and there is no leaks there is a problem somewhere. Hopefull something simple mate
