Sigma alarm

Do you have the code for the key pad? And can you disarm via the key pad (if you have the code) if this works sounds like the fobs may need reprogramming.
Assume you have reeked both fobs?

Yeah luckily it's outside my house, just pissing the neighbours off haha, there is a key pad on the right hand side of the steering wheel but I was led to believe that was for the tracker?

The key pad will be in the coin holder to the right of the steering wheel, this is for th alarm, if you have the code it will disarm the system.
There is a way of reprogramming the code but think it has to be disarmed first?

Sigma alarms are crap in newage cars they were ok in classic. They changed the fob for newage which caused signal issues. My advice change the system you can get relatively cheap replacements fitted for only a few hundred when I had the issue with my old bugeye I had a Toad sterling one fitted it was cheap basic but functional only cost about £250 fitted i think.
The guy who fitted it told me there is a little trick to get the sigma system to work but it didnt work everytime for me, you need to put the alarm fob against the drivers side window so its touching and then press the button this was so the radio frequency needed to disarm had less distance to travel and had less chance of interference which is the main issue.
Personally i would just bin the system
Hope this helps

The problem is that if the fob hasn't unlocked the car and you continue to press the button the frequency required to unlock the car stays the same but the code in the fob gets changed each time its pressed (or its the other way around i never remember) so the fob and immobilser are wanting and projecting different signals which is why it doesnt work.
The trick is to unlock the car pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery obviously this shuts off the alarm but it resets the system if you leave it for approx 5 mins before putting both terminals back on the battery. This used to work for mine until i got the new alarm system.
Be interesting to hear what you do if you carry on with the alarm and if you try the above if it works for you or if you just change the alarm.
