Default overfueling please help

ok people i brought a 1997 import v3 sti its running a ej20k engine with blue 1s ecu. i was going down the moterway and it spat one of the half moon gaskets out the side of the head chucking oil all over the manifold. got the gasket replaced and then it started playing up would'nt idle properly and died at junctions. then it overheated so i took the engine out and sent it off had new oil pump, water pump, heads skimmed, new pistons, crank and bearings.car started first turn every time when at the garage i knew the maf was still an issue as there was only 3 wires on a 5 pin green label maff so i done my research and found out it was a 3 pin orange lab maff so i fitted it now it runs on idle but when i take it up the road its overfueling what can cause this cause i think i have covered everything the engine light is still on when i flash it it still says ecu is it a possability the ecu is nackered. cheers guys
