Baileys dump valve or stay standard

Hi guys I've been thinking of putting a Bailey's dump valve on my 04 Scooby but a friend of mine said not to bother as it affects performanc...is this true?

Stay standard,dump valves should've died in the 90's.

If you want a dump valve effect just stick your head out the window and go 'ptooooosh' really loudly as you will look as stupid but would have saved yourself some money

Seriously though,don't bother with one

Ok thanks Im not going to bother I suppose they do sound bit stupid just been looking online it says they actually could reduce power so def not doing it
