I have a 1993 wrx and the turbo is on its way out so looking to upgrade what would be best to go with a front mount yellow injectors and a simtek and then mapping also do I need side entry or front for a direct swap

VF34 or 35 is quite popular because it's got really quick spool.

Is it a big job to find a 90degree bend to the turbo intake? or do most people put on a later model intake manifold?
Also looking at upgrading to a BB turbo!

Saloon or wagon wrx?
Your choice of turbo's will be limited due to it being an early car unless they are converted.

The vf48 is a front entry turbo is it not? His car has a side entry turbo (Either a TD04 or a TD05 depening if its a wagon or saloon), unless you have had it converted it wont fit all classics

Converting a front entry to a top entry is a pain in the ***.....I done it!
It's also expensive converting the car to take a front entry.....I done it!
The TD05 is a great turbo and will give good bop etc.
Or splash out on getting it rebuilt to better spec....turbo technics rebuilt my one and its now basically a hybrid TD05 18G.......360bhp
