Default Who's had there arches rolled on a newage (pic request)

Did anyone have any problems after having there arches rolled on a newage? Thinking of having mine done on the rears as I have a little rubbing but not sure where to have them done near me.

Heard good things about arch enemy and they're mobile although dont think they'd travel up north

Post pics of your rolled arches please

had mine done before my wagonn was painted mate no problems really except mine being an estate ya cant have them rolled as much due to the back doors on the wagons...also got the underside lips pushed back for extra clearance. depends on coilys and what kind of wheels your going for ....

Thanks mate after fitting my new wheels the rears rub on hard cornering so thinking of biting the bullet and having them rolled although dont want the paint cracking etc. have a whiteline rear arb and drop links with bc coilovers so 1st going to try stiffening the rears up if no joy then they'd have to be rolled :-(

Do the arches get pushed out at all or is the process all in the arch at the lip?

Try running camber bolts on the rear mate

I rolled my own arches on my old classic, heated the arch then worked it back with a lump of timber, yes it sounds brutal but it worked and did not split the paint at all

if you get them rolled mate there can be a little cracking of paint i was warned , though i had mine done before its respray so didnt mind, if you have adjustable top mounts you could set the camber a little more to get more of the top of the wheel under the arch so to speak, the process involves rolling the acrh out the way from the car, you can just have the lips underneath pushed up and back this would give you an extra 5mm clearance at most i think...if not mate let it sit a little higher and stiffen it up ....thats what I have done with my rears....

Thought about this mate although dont want to split the paint. Even tried pushing the ach lip up and back with my hand
Camber bolts could be worth a punt too

Have some widetrack rear arches to go on so thinking if the paint cracks maybe I could hide it behind the arch
Rears arnt that low to begin with mate fitting the arb has made it stiffer but I may try stiffening the bcs too.

Car needs a geo set up anyway could be a good idea also to run more camber will have to look into this without ruining the ride

Cheers guys

I rolled mine myself on a classic- key seemed to be a good heat gun and take your time- got me just enough to get where I wanted, but run -2' up front and -1.5' at the rear- it does track a little, but it handles like a dream!

I did my own with a 3lb lump hammer

I was going for a respray so not too worried about paint cracking. Rolling the fronts is something I haven't done yet as I don't want to lose the ability to keep the arch liners

What happens with the liners on the rear when you roll them?

What happens to the arch liners Jon? Does rolling mean you loose them?

Not sure mate, but the fronts clip onto the arch lip - I'm not sure how they would be held in or if they would be solid enough if you couldn't still clip them on

Luckily Havnt a problem with the front just seems the rear, well one side but I'm thinking if I roll them I'd be able to lower more without any rubbing

I'm just thinking about the future - wider rims, chunky tyres and coilover

the fronts on a classic can be done with keeping the arch liners, mine were just trimmed back slightly between the two fixing points at the top.
