Bosch windscreen wipers, how crap :o
Decided a while back to get, what i thought would be decent, new windscreen wipers on my daily driver. got some bosch one's from halfords and have to say, they are totaly crap.
Started screetching within a few weeks of getting them and they have gone down hill since then and havn;t lasted well at all.
my advice, stay away from them.

Wipers screeching is just an indication that they aren't sitting correctly on the screen.
To try and explain, imagine you were using a squeegee.
Dragging it behind you over the surface will clear the surface. Pushing it ahead of you will cause it to skip.
That's what happens to wiper blades. they need to sit so that, as they move, they are DRAGGED behind the arm, NOT propelled in front of it.
Simply twisting the arm often helps, but a little at a time, eh?
If it helps, try the following:
if they screech on the UP stroke, twist the arm from the bottom of the screen upwards.
If they screech on the downstroke, twist the arm from the top of the screen downwards.
Twisting the arm doesn't mean move it, it means twist along it's length.
