Default Strange

Hi guys my heaters on my 04sti are playing silly buggers if I have the **** set on 30*c hottest it can go its as expected super hot but if I click back 2 clicks the temp dies out put it back to 30 and it's red hot again any ideas it's like I've lost anything in between 20-28*c the sweet point as I refer to it

Thanks in advance

Just a thought, if you have recently fitted a FMIC it can sometimes hide the temp sensor, giving inaccurate outside ambient temperature readings. This has an effect on the climate control measurement inside and hence not a lot of adjustment. Could be something else, but worth checking.

No front mount I've been out and got the car up to temp pulled over and checked it again starting from cold increments of 2 clicks and the heat came in nice as it should so it appears to now want to do what it's being told maybe a controll valve or something ?
