Default VF37 twin scroll upgrade - advices

Hi guys,

I'm doing a VF37 twin scroll upgrade on my 04 STI. I allready have AEM intake, full 3" Supersprint exhaust decat, walbro pump, 1 bar actuator for the turbo.

What else can I do to help the turbo spool faster before I install everything ? I want a fast street setup with fast throttle response.

Thanks !

You will also need Twin Scroll headers and twin scroll sump AFAIK.

I allready have everything for the swap (manifold, upipe, downpipe, suport, sump, dipstick, new gaskets), just wanted to know what else can I do to further help the spool: porting the hot side, polishing the intake ....

What heads you will be running?

As you know,JDM STi using different heads(Big port) and different cams, this would help in better spool up and better top end

Get a forge uprated actuator, blue spring. Makes a huge difference most of the time in holding boost longer & IMO gives more torque earlier.

NOS can help with spool if you want to go that route.
