Default Swapping in a long engine classic ej205 into newage

Ok heres the story,
Bottom end knock in my wrx has led me to source a new engine, I have bought a 99 EJ205 complete engine with low mileage.
Can I use the entire replacement engine (coil packs from newage fit ok?) and just swap over the intake manifold or would there be any advantage in using the newage ej205 heads?
Car is running a vf24, sti pinks etc pushing a little over 300bhp if that makes any difference, I have no desire to push much more out of her bar adding an sti tmic down the line to help keep the charge a little cooler.

Make sure you change the crank shaft sprocket because on a 99 they have 6 pegs to pick up the crank sensor and on a newage they have loads of little pegs. Also you need to change the headers and up pipe because of the lambda sensors being in the headers on a newage and not on the 99. The coil packs just bolt in and the heads are exactly the same on both engines so there is no need to change them. And obviously the intake manifold as you've already said.

You also need to change the near side inlet cam pulley, they have a differnt trigger pattern for the cam position.
