Default Stalled car now won't restart

Stalled my car yesterday in traffic and it wouldn't restart, had been driving for an hour or so up to this point and all was fine. Pushed it to a safe location called aa out, they checked all fuses and said they were ok. However I noticed when I turn ignition on I can't hear the fuel pump at all, it's a walbro 255 less than two years old. Got the car on a flatbed and recovered home many hours later. Checked fuel pump there is voltage to it but only 6 volts. Am also thinking it could be my immobiliser playing up on my cobra alarm as this could be connected to the fuel pump? I've read through alarm instructions and it says about an emergency override procedure and putting a key on so thing, thing is I don't know where in the car it has been fitted.
Has anyone had this before? If I were to replace the fuel pump would the car need mapping again if say I got a hrc 300?

if its a classic before you do anything expencive check the plug for the fuel pump under driverside back seat, they are prone to corrosion

if you're only getting 6 volts at the fuel pump then that's your problem. Try running a temporary feed to the fuel pump first to see if the pumps okay. Then sort the problem with the low voltage supply.

Hi Matt

If you will put bigger pump you will need at least check the AFR etc,but I would speak with your mapper about this

Not sure what can be the problem, but if you are not hearing the fuel pump,Fuel pump can be the problem

You are running SimTek ?
