Hi I have a 95 Sti and am doing a lot to her but need a bit of help if I am having a apexi pfc and a apexi avcr will I need to get a new map sensor like the MY 97 –00 map sensor higher pressure rating pleas help me thanks

No later map sensors don't always work well with the basic Apexi ECU setup from experience. in any case you control the boost from the components of the AVCR package anyway. You should have the AVC-R boost pressure sensor and AVC-R boost pressure solenoid valve with your control unit and loom

I must be telling the truth too as I have a 99STi map sensor forsale converted for 95STi wiring and I haven't tried to sell it to you

You have a few options.

A boost controller - avcr is very good but any would work.
Get an apexi boost control kit which includes the apexi map sensor.
Get the apexi map sensor and loom separately.
Or fit the newer sensor as 53 has for sale however the boost reading will be wrong in the apexi. Iirc it will read 0.4bar lower than actual boost. So if you have a boost gauge to show you the boost level to stop confusion and whomever is mapping it is happy with you going that route it is the cheapest and retains a boost cut level which the boost controller alone wont.

Hi m8 have a apexi pfc and a apexi avcr full kit in box so will this be ok then and can I pm you my spec for a bit more help thanks
