Default General Service

Hello

So, amongst other plans for the impreza (turbo 2000) It could do with a service.

What do I change/replace?

So far, I'm doing:

Full engine oil flush/change
Oil filter
Replace Panel Filter
Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter

Is there anything else you would do that I may have missed?

I've read up, and you are right. Shall skip the flush.

Hi Jazzy,

Have you done cambelt + waterpump? I would recommend for you to change a new thermostat, those things have a nasty habit of getting jammed when old.

Yes, but im not looking to follow the service schedule, I am changing everything for peace of mind, and to ensure its been done. Service history is very easiliy "made up"

Hi mate

They were done in 2011. new MAF, new thermostat, cambelt and pump. Im going to change all of these this year, but not this time round. Focussing mainly on engine and fluids for now
Sadly, I cannot afford to do it all at once!

Already mentioned steering fluid

Good options. Think starter and alternator shall be for later in the year
