Ngk 7's

Hello, driving car home other night, stopped off at a mates for 20 mins, jumped back in car fired up went to set off and it wouldn't hardly move anywhere. Coughing spluttering would hardly rev up. Managed to crawl home.
Checked coil packs, all seem ok. Car cooled down fired up after a few seconds, sounded ok at first then it started missing again.
It's thrown these fault codes up after it was cleared.

P0102 MAF circuit low
P0103 MAF circuit high
P0113 air intake sensor malfunction high input
P0037 heater control circuit low bank 1 sensor 2

Any ideas guys?? Thanks.

Looks like it's something I'll need to check on mine too. Got the p0102 and p0113 codes and new maf for non-turbo are ~450 quid

Goes to show the importance of knowing the basics really. Fault codes are all well and good but they turn out to be a Red herring a lot of the time. I went out to a connect once where the AA had diagnosed a faulty MAF sensor. I checked the service sticker and it'd not been serviced for 40k miles, popped the airbox lid off and the air filter was blocked and sucking itself flat, that then gives the MAF unexpected readings and someone with a computer just thinks it needs a new MAF.

well in my case I bought the car last summer and replace straight away the air and the pollen filter, then the oil with filter. I have done no more than 5k miles since then and the filter was the first thing we checked. It's nice and clean (no dirt at all). I will try to dismantle the air intake place before the filter to see if it's clogged then...

It wasnt a suggestion to your case mate, more a generalisation regarding error codes and red herrings!
