Default help with my ecu

Hi im new to subarus and needing abit of info regarding my car and ecu.

The engine thats in is a sti version 5 redtop i beleave coil pack is offset more to near side wing.

the car is a uk 2000 shell but everything about it is import opposite indicators speed limiter etc etc.

this is the code off the ecu and is it a ecutek? can it be mapped and if so by who etc cheers people.

I've been looking into this myself recently.it can be mapped but you'll need to have the ecutek licence put on to the Ecu.a good reputable mapper can do this for you such as bob Rawle or Simon from jolly green motorsport

Thanks mate ive bought de cat down and up pipes just need a fuel pump possibly change my injectors for piece of mind and change top mount to v7 as mine has inter cooler spray fitted

That's a V5/6 Type R ecu.

As for mapping all depends on how much you want to spend as you can get that ECU reflashed or change to a aftermarket ECU or daughterboard (http://www.enduringsolutions.com/)

That looks a cool piece of kit im wanting anti lag but will it kill the turbo

Have a word with matt from pole performance.he has an Ecu with the licence already on,that will save you some money.was going to buy it myself but I don't think it's a straight fit for a uk car

It will kill the turbo and the cat eventually (if still fitted) but it isn't meant to be run all the time as is just a bit showy off imo,however you don't have to have if you don't want it.

your best bet is to speak to the mapper on here (dynamix is quite good along with the others mentioned) and see what they can do for the price you want to pay.

cheers buddy, car is a toy as I have a company car and rarely use it mainly weekends and I have my son in car but im wanting to do 1/4 mile with it
