Default Need a new turbo! Can any1 help

Ok, i bought a vf35, injectors etc to upgrade my 03 wrx ppp last year, after blowing the head gaskets nd stuff in september i decided to strip most the engine to check for other problems! Anyway, we rebuilt the engine, everything was looking fine until it got to going for a remap, there was a crack in the housing so it wasnt holding its boost, so tried to get back intouch with scoobyspares, who origionally were really helpfull etc, but when i asked for a chamge in turbo they never got back intouch, anyways thats besides the point, the turbo has been repaired nd sold.

I decided to return the car to standard nd forget about it, but iv got a 3" full decat system on, and a walbro 255, so iv decided im gonna get it mapped asap, nd now my td04 has started to leak (blue smoke from exhaust under boost) so i need a new turbo, im just wondering what are my options?

I dont wanna spend a fortune, and i dont want silly power, i just want just over 300bhp to be honest, will a td05, with the mods see me just over 300bhp? Iv got sti pinks but i was thinking of selling them, should i keep them and go for a td05?

Thanks in advance

Td05/16g or a vf35 will do over 300 or a hybrid tdo4 will do around the 300 mark

if you think a vf35 is laggy, a standard td04 will do you mate.

Vf35 is a good turbo and spools up nicely for the power you are looking both the vf35 and TD05 will see you there.SJ.

You might find them to be more laggy than the vf35

Td05 16G is a AWESOMELY fun street turbo! I now have a 20G and miss the instant boost and top end pull! Perfect size turbo for a fun fast street car!
