Default Spec C Oil cooler pipe leak

I have an oil leak/weep on the Spec C, Its at least one of the 2 rubber hoses down by the drivers Chassis leg that is leaking.
Something is telling me that i have read somewhere before that these hoses weeping oil is a common problem, maybe i am going mad???
Anyone have same problem in past?

Not sure on a spec C, but a good clean up could help the tracing of the leak. As you could be searching here and there to find the leak otherwise.

I think it's a common problem because on later Spec C's they came with two clips from the factory. An OEM pinch clip and then a jubilee clip as well.
Mines a 2006 and has both clips on each join from the factory.

I'm not sure why mine has both then? I've owned it from new.
Might be worth adding an extra clip.

Yeah I might try that, it's not leaking much, just more of an annoyance to me tbh.
Considering the temperature of the oil and importance, rubber hose and spring clips don't seem to really adequate.

I've got a 2005 spec c and mine failed big time 12months ago. Luckily, race marshalls saw it before any damage done! Braided lines now
