Hi all as above.
It would seem that the defi sensor has been warn a little on the connection for the adaptor. So what should be 1/8 NPT simply sits in the hole the tightens 2 turns only.
Any thoughts on how to sort this without buying another temp sensor ?
Cheers

I think the thread on the water temp is worn as the adaptor it goes in that i bought for the top rad hose is a 1/8NPT so should be ok although it goes in it only catches the last two turns

If it is only catching the last two threads I would bin it and get a new one. As if it decides to loose those two threads whilst driving you may not notice quick enough to prevent the engine cooking itself and then needing a re-build or replacement engine.
