Default What type of LSD in 2007 Hawkeye STi Type UK?

My diff is f**ked. I don't know what diff. All I know is "A" diff is nearing its end. I now have to drive about with it set to full open otherwise it binds up and clunks every few metres.

Anyone experience this in their Hawkeye STi?

And what type of LSD is in the 2007 Hawkeye STi Type UK?

Surely the centre diff from what you say (DCCD) which is electronically controlled and perhaps in need of replacement?
I generally drive with mine fully open (wet/dry trackday/road), which is roughly 2/3 rear bias.

Yeah you must be right if setting it to fully open solves the problem. And the switch only controls the DCCD then I guess its that one. Sounds pricey. And I'm really not impressed its only lasted 30K miles of excellent treatment! I have generally always driven in Auto but never fail to place it into fully open for reversing or really tight turns / manoeuvres. I wonder is this an issue on these Hawks?

Not had a problem after 120K on my Hawk STI or heard much from anybody else.
I drive mine pretty much as you do, except I usually forget to put it into auto after I pull out of my drive. If conditions are poor, I am more likely to put it into auto - but can't say I have ever noticed any difference in handling.
Reversing is the worst.
