Default put turbo in???

So basiaclly my question is, do i put a small wrx turbo on my car.... i have the hawkeye R Sport (non-turbo) and was wondering what it would take to be able to but just the wrx hawkeye turbo into it, or the 2.0l bugeye wrx turbo as my car is a 2.0l. Surely most of the engine is the same? would need an intercooler obviously but... i dont know what else it would need.

Any ideas if this has been done, what would need to be change etc?
sorry for nievity just annoyed that i still get beaten by stupid chavs on their saxo vtr's etc...

btw im 19... so just changing to a turbo'd version isnt the best optionright now.

Thanksm

pointless an expensive excercise and i doubt you would insure it either.
if you want a turbo impreza just sell the sport and buy one

Its a bigger job than you think. You will need a complete turbo car and then swap everything. Engine, gearbox, drivetrain, wiring loom, ecu and all associated electrics

+ brakes, turbo bonnet for intercooler,

it will cost you more to 'make' than what the insurance is for the turbo version. i got my classic turbo at the age of 20. Went for a late 'w' UK Spec classic as the insurance wasnt much more than my bmw at the time. clean classics are about for what it will cost you to do the work to yours.
