Does the ecu have any control over the charging circuit? I have an odd charging problem after my ecu was changed.
When the problem occurs the light comes on and voltage at battery is 12v or less, if I pull the alt fuse in the engine bay and refit, it then starts to charge but stops again when the car is restarted. I'm guessing its possibly the regulator but seems odd it started after fitting a new ecu (power fc)
