Default Bigger TMIC for GC8

How easy is it to install? It's mahusive compared to the standard one and how do I bypass the standard recirc valve on my MY97 turbo2000

Not easy ! Just fitted one of these to my 99 classic, lots of changing and moving parts

I can't find a fitting guide for that exact make of top mount but this is a decent guide for an STi top mount.

It should give you at least a rough idea of what a ballache it may be.

Hi mate whats the hardest part to get these to fit.

Do you have a strut brace fitted still.

Thinking of doing mine

Hi yes I've got a strut brace

Had to make brackets up to hold the intercooler and replace the clutch set up with a bug eye set up with remote reservoir
Also mod the top engine mountin to make the intercooler sit low enough to fit the strut brace

Mine might be less of a problem due to no strut brace and my coil pack is front mounted in the centre but I guess the rest will apply, cheers for info

Ok bigger problem now, my ICV is right where the BOV outlet is, how can I get round this ?

What year is yours and what manifold/throttle body is on yours? Mine is the centre coilpack type and the ICV is to the right of the manifold and is top mounted, I need the same manifold and body as you have to make it fit
