Just wondered what/how/if many People have done the above, i'm just about to do a job (engine build) and my Customer is thinking about fitting a swirl pot. Reason being He's payed alot of money for an upgrade package (it's a 400bhp WR1) and the engines gone pop. The data log says it's leaned out and He's concerned that unless He fits a swirl pot it will happen again.
I know it can be done but was wondering how neat it can be installed, use the std fuel pipes, fit new ones etc etc?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy
For road car swirl pot is not needed I would say and would say its the waste of money.if its run lean probably fuel pump or injectors can be the problem or map itself.Second thoughts I would go with fuel rails and aftermarket FPR if yours customer looking for upgrading
What fuel pump he running, what injectors he running ?
Swirl pot not sure, speak to Lichfield selling in engine bay swirl pot and depends on power and if he thinking run car on track days,if not I would have look on Bosch 9xx series,044 is very loud(have fitted and really its loud)
Personally I would use Teflon fuel hoses, they're yours best bet and fittings, depends on budget
Hope this help
