Off boost yes, that said tho we changed from a set of yellow 440cc to a set of 770cc or what ever they are on a classic, the car would start but run like a bag of spanners, we chose to change them back over for the journey up due to how bad it ran and changed them there before the map, but when we asked if we could drive it we was told yes off boost ( assuming it would drive and idle
) if you only have a short journey just keep a light right foot and keep it off boost and you will be fine, It may be a little lumpy but nothing out of the ordinary, but if it ran as bad as the type r did then you may not have an option but to change them there.

I drove from Carlisle to Swindon (Bob Rawle) with New Turbo / injectors .... Bug WRX without problems off boost LOL
Presumably you have changed other things apart from the injectors?

I've booked my car in for a map on Thursday and im in the same situation, i have 440cc atm and going for 900cc Lateral performance injectors, i was also advised to drive off boost but thats if the car runs otherwise will have to fit just before my map.

Sorry Shaun was that question aimed at me?
If so my friend had his engine fully rebuilt and had it mapped for running in, we then went back for a proper map but it was pointed out the pump was not coping and the inj where on their limits, so we put a 340ltr pump in along with the uprated injectors to get it mapped again and that's when it ran like a bag of spanners
as soon as we put them back in at bob's an he done his thing, it was happy days ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
We was expecting a little roughness/boggyness with the new ones in place but it was that bad we didn't want to run the risk.
