If you had the choice of the following 2 sets which would you choose

1. STI Genome gauges
OR
2. Defis

Depends on the car they are fitted to IMO, A JDM car with the red swoosh dials has to have the Amber Defis as the genomes are green

they are the same, both defi's just the genome ones will have sti written on them and probably worth a little bit more second hand

what are they gaz ? like how you got all the illumination red how you do that ???

They are the BF Defi link range...Discontinued now and replaced with the advance range, They also do other ranges of gauge if you don't need or want the features of the controller, like the Defi Racer.

Regarding the illumination...easy on a spec-c just bulb swaps...Yours requires a little more work on the heater controls, have a search as I'm sure there are one or two threads on it. somewhere.

I've got STI Genome gauges in my JDM STI bug look mint mate and light up green just like the standard dash......

havent i got the same heater controls what year is yours?

mine lights up red made my heart says sti genome but my ocd says keep it all illuminated red

Mine is a Blob mate and the Spec-C Limited has a different dash to either the bug/blob or hawk
