Diesel injectors - advice
Peugeot 307 1.4 HDI 51 plate
My on going issues.
Took the injectors to a diesel specialist who said that they were all blocked and hence not allowing the car to start – at least I know what the problem is now.
He said that he could not get any fuel out of them. He has stripped one down and cleaned it which improved it but he has said that the only way forward is to re-furbish them at £100 each or buy new ones at about £300 each
I simply can not afford this at the mo and question as the whether the car is actually worth it. But following a few posts on youtube, it does not seem to be much of a job to strip them down myself and clean. Has anyone had any experience at this. I figure – if they are not working at the moment, what have I got to loose.
