I'm not really having the best of luck with returning my 1999 uk turbo back to a standard air box

Got everything bar the pipe which connects the maf housing to the turbo inlet pipe, ordered one which arrived today and it doesnt fit over the maf housing end but fits to the pipe to turbo end.

Do the k&n kits come with a different maf housing cause now im thinking i have a non standard bit??, never straightforward is it

Also are the earlier hoses different sizes to the facelift 99/00 cars?? The one i have is 75mm/3" inside diameter which doesnt fit and i need an 85mm inside diameter to fit over the maf housing, could anybody measure their standard 99/00 hose for me?

If anyone has one of these pipes that came off a 99 car, i'll take it asap!!

 

Well I've done a bit of searching and found that the my99/00 maf tubes are 90mm od and 76mm internal diameter so at least mine is standard, so I've obviously got an early post maf intake pipe.

Going to head to the breakers this morning and try to source an newer pipe
