Default Inlet Manifold

Hi,
Just a quickee for the boffins, going to get a new inlet manifold to paint and re-fit so I'm not without a manifold while painting, Question is, the car is a v4 type r eg20k do I need that exact manifold i.e. is it different to UK spec ones or even better could I go for a better one? Car is getting mapped anyway.
Cheers

Don't think it matters as to whether it comes off a UK or JDM car but it does have to be Version 3/4 I think.

I've done exactly the same as you (and on the same style of Impreza as well) and got a spare one from the garage that I use.

Went and got it shot blasted then powder coated came up a treat

I'm of the understanding that there's no difference between UK/JDM inlet manifolds, for the correct year car of course.

I've got a Phase 1.5(V3/4) inlet manifold for sale if it's any good to you?
