Right folks need help
I replaced my knock sensor 2 months ago brought a eBay one for £9
Any way I fitted new induction kit today started car and man light on
So plugged in fault reader and it came up code 22 knock sensor
Went on live data and said knock sensor off and went on knock correction and was 0.0
Do people wreckon my cheap sensor has gone down or have I broke something

Many years ago I had trouble with the knock sensor, replaced with a cheapo one and had to replace 9 months later. It was not anywhere near in spec, but looked fine from the outside (not cracked etc). Luckily it was under guarantee, and I paid the extra then to get a genuine one.

Not sure what car you have but classics are supposed to be something like 550k Ohms impedance +-5%, if you have a multimeter you can check it, but likely it just wasn't very good to start with.
