classic twin scroll compatability

im currently doing a self build and would like to know if a v1 (phase 1 inlet) is compatible with a twin scroll set up , due to the different path the intake pipe takes ?
As I had planned to fit the forged v1 cdb long engine into a v3 (with phase 1.5 inlet crossover pipe ect ...) and go twin scroll ,but have been offered a cleaner v1 shell for my project instead .
Thanks in advance
Clive

So long as you have all the twin scroll parts it should be fairly straight forward.
The only problem you should encounter is routing the inlet pipe under the manifold, manifold spacers and the later PS pump or a newage remote reservoir PS system will be needed though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you'll lose the burble, Clive.
You should only run into the same problems when reversing the inlet manifold that I mentioned above. Depends how you are reversing it though.
If you're just turning it round then I'd imagine the ICV will be in the way, if you're having it modified, (cut/welded) then it shouldn't be an issue.

gutted
the burble was one of the reasons i bought a scoob in the first place
might have to have a rethink methinks and try to find a turbo that spools fairly quick ,wont break the bank but, get me close to the 500 barrier
.
im sure if i find one theyll sell like hot cakes on here![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
as for the inlet id hoped to just flip it as im sure that having less fmic pipework cooking in the engine bay would have helped with less lag and lower charge temps.
thanks for the advise again fella![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
i guess id better do some more research then

Get it converted Clive, if you know or can find someone that can weld alloy to a good standard.
So it looks like this;

Not mine, but, I'm trying to find someone local to do it for me.
You can just rotate it, but, it looks neater converted and I personally think the ICV would make it a bit more of a struggle for space.
