Help show me your v1/2 maffless induction setups
Hiya guys I'm going to be fitting my fmic this weekend and getting the car mapped by jgm on the 28th. I will be running an alcatek maffless setup.
On the v1/2 the induction setup is a pain, ideally I want the remove the resonator box as well,
I'm thinking ill fit a filter direct to the short turbo intake pipe In place of where that resonator box is. Then the pipe going into the resonator box ill maybe just put a breather on it.
Obviously I'm not going to buy an induction kit because I don't need all the maff adapters.
Any help would be great, cheers joe

I agree reversed inlet is the way forward, bit OTT for the state of tune I'm at.
Same to you tho legacy what have you done with all the vac take offs on your original inlet pipe?

All the vac take offs are for breathers and evaporative emissions shenanigans! The evap system has been removed and the breathers go to the catch can over on the right!
Theres nowt going into the inlet tract at all now between filter and turbo

Makes sense, what are they for? 2 rocker cover breathers and 1 crack case breather?
If I plumb all these into a catch can which seams relatively straight forward that just leaves my recirc valve as per the above pic.
On my fmic pipe work there is a take of for it. Shall I just blank this off and do away with it all together??
Thanks for all the advice.

Right guys decided to fit a catch can. Next question can I remove my recirculation valve and blank it off on my fmic pipework and the small vac pipe going to my inlet manifold.
